Student Insight Group

Every month, we are inviting students from across the country to join our U-Belong student insights group.

In these sessions, the U-Belong team will share research on belonging at university and invite you to help us make sense of it! Led by students, we will harness your collective experiences and perspectives to produce insights and recommendations that we will share with our national network of universities and decisionmakers. Wherever possible, we will use the discussion as a catalyst for change.

Our next session:

Can it ever be as simple as “just join a new club”? We explore how individuals' perceptions can create different understandings of what it means to join a group and how universities can support more students to get involved.

The group will be held on Wednesday 27th of March, 5-6pm.

Please note that whilst this is intended as a safe and supportive space to connect with other students to talk and learn about belonging and loneliness at university, the U-Belong team are not trained mental health practitioners and this is not suitable as a group therapy session.
